Iron Maiden concert in Prague 2025
The legendary rock band Iron Maiden is coming to Prague in 2025. The one arranging the tour might lack some geography skills, because it would be wiser to travel to Bratislava and then to Prague after the opening concerts in Budapest, but for some reason, the band will first do two concerts in Budapest, then travel to Prague, and then travel to Bratislava. No matter what, we are very happy to have Iron Maiden’s with its members Bruce Dickinson on lead vocals, Steve Harris on bass guitar and keyboards, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and Janick Gers on guitars, with Nicko McBrain on drums coming to Prague in 2025.
Iron Maiden had their first concert in Prague on October 27, 1990, during their “No Prayer on the Road” tour, supporting their “No Prayer for the Dying” album. This was a historic tour, as it was their first major visit to Eastern Europe after the fall of the Iron Curtain, marking an important moment for fans in the region. Since then, there have been plenty of Iron Maiden concerts in Prague, for example in 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2022, and now the band is returning again. These concerts have been arranged in venues such as the Tipsport Arena, the Sinobo Stadium, and also in the O2 Arena. But, as Iron Maiden comes to Prague in 2025, they will perform at the same location as Imagine Dragons who will come some months later, at the Letnany Airport.
Arranging a concert at Letnany Airport means that there will be space for as many as 80,000 people, so if you are an introvert who doesn’t like being in the same place as lots of other people, you should probably go somewhere else than to Letnany Airport on the last day of May in 2025. If you still decide to be there at the Iron Maiden concert in Prague, you can travel by metro line C to the stop Letňany Station. From there you can reach the airport area within 10-15 minutes of walking.

Is it possible that I will meet Iron Maiden members walking in the streets of Prague?
Some artists come and go as they visit a city on a tour. They don’t really care much about the city, and they are just there to get a job done. That cannot be said about Iron Maiden, as there are many stories online about the band members visiting restaurants and famous locations and areas in Prague. Bruce Dickinson is known for his interest in history, and he has been seen a few times around the city, particularly around Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the band likes Pilsner beer, and they are supposed to have visited restaurants such as Lokál and U Fleku to eat goulash and svíčková during their trips to Prague. This isn’t officially reported, but based on sightings from fans.
But, considering the fact that the band is performing in Budapest on May 27 and May 28, and that the band will be in Bratislava on June 1, the only chance for this to happen is if the band members travel directly to Prague from Budapest and spend some days relaxing in Prague before the concert on May 31. Who knows, maybe you are lucky and will meet the members eating Goulash or strolling across the Charles Bridge on May 30?
