Bubble Wine Festival

Do you like the sound of Champagne, Cava, Franciacorta, Crémant, and Prosecco, combined with live music at a beautiful location in Prague? If the answer is yes, come to the Bubble Wine Festival at Villa Richter arranged in May every single year.

This is a perfect chance for you to taste and compare the most popular bubbling wines in the world at the same place and in small amounts. Which is your favorite? Do you go with the original Champagne from France, or are you just as happy to drink a glass of (or a bottle of) Prosecco from Italy?

The Bubble Wine festival is arranged by the magnificent Villa Richter, a fantastic villa from the 19th century. It is open throughout the year and it has a restaurant where you can dine and enjoy food at a high level. But, at least 5-6 times a year, it hosts different festivals and one of the most popular festivals is the Bubble Wine Festival in May.

There is an entrance fee to enter the festival area, but if you are in love with wine and bubbling wine, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

Prosecco Fest 2024

There are lots of fantastic festivals for those in love with wine and beer in Prague, and the Prosecco Fest is one of the nicest. This is not a festival crowded with thousands of people, but it is a smaller event in a magnificent area of Prague, between the Castle and the Petrin Hill, in the fantastic Richter Villa.

Villa Richter is a historic building in Prague, Czech Republic. It is located on the slopes of Petřín Hill, near Prague Castle. The villa was built in the early 19th century in a neoclassical style. Today, Villa Richter is known for its beautiful gardens and stunning views of the city.

One of the annual festivals arranged in and by the villa is the Prosecco Fest. It takes place in the St. Wenceslas Vineyard, a part of the Villa Richter, and there you can taste a wide range of sparkling wines from the Veneto region of Italy (where the famous Prosecco comes from). Besides drinking, you can listen to live music and enjoy a spectacular view of Prague.
